How It Works
The Net Worth Calculator helps you determine your financial health by comparing your assets (what you own) to your liabilities (what you owe). Here's how it works:
- List all your assets and their current market values.
- List all your liabilities and their current balances.
- Calculate the total value of your assets.
- Calculate the total value of your liabilities.
- Subtract your total liabilities from your total assets to get your net worth.
The formula for net worth is simple:
Net Worth = Total Assets - Total Liabilities
A positive net worth indicates that your assets are greater than your liabilities, while a negative net worth means you owe more than you own.
